Paul Gibson is currently working at La Grand Ecole de Telecommunication (INT-Evry), France in the department LOR; having previously taught at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth and Université Henri Poincaré, Nancy, France. He has many years of experience teaching computer science, programming and problem solving to school children (from as young as 5 years old). While at Maynooth, he was director of a children's science camp (2002 - 2004) where hundreds of school children got to experience fun experiments and puzzles in all scientific disciplines, including computer science. As part of his own computer science research, he is interested in algorithmic understanding and how children (and adults) learn to solve problems and manage problem complexity.
