Events for Kids
Computer Science Unplugged shows for kids are held all over the world at schools, universities and science museums. They use the activities from this site, modified to suit a live environment with lots of audience participation.
Tim demonstrates how binary numbers are stored. This is based on the first activity in the "Unplugged" book, but each child holds one of the bits, which makes for much more exciting numbers.
